Sorry I wasn't able to join in during the actual viewing, was quite busy today.
Anyway, quite a thinning of the herd in this episode. The Nonets gave a final stand that was almost something like honorable. They stuck up for one another. The Nonets at least have respect for their brethren. But pretty much every last Nonet Bakugan was consumed by Coredegon today. Worton, of course, predicted this would fail, and retreated to the Doom Dimension. And Spatterix and Stronk told Gunz and Betadron to retreat to the Doom Dimension as well, because they would most likely all be defeated by Coredegon and if Gunz wanted to live to exact vengeance on the Brawlers, he had to leave now. They suggested that Betadron go with him, so that he would have a Bakugan. Every other Nonet was absorbified. I don't know what it means to be a part of Coredegon. He said he was offering them everlasting life by living as a part of his soul. He also claimed it was better than wandering the Doom Dimension for eternity. But I doubt that.
Speaking of Gunz and Betadron's new partnership, Reptak has to be going through some crazy psychological tribulations. He's feeling guilty, as he might be responsible for Gunz becoming evil because Reptak didn't believe Gunz when he begged for the Brawlers' trust. And now Gunz has a NEW partner, and is out for Reptak's head. You can't really blame Reptak for being careful, but he still feels like it's his fault.
By the way, this new Wiseman, is being called Wiseman2, pronounced "Wiseman Two" by Dan. Glad he's got a name now. But it's really Gunz. No dark energy possession here, it's just Gunz as he's always been, just using his natural rage to fuel the Wiseman suit. Dan says they'll turn Gunz back to normal, but Gunz wasn't affected by outward sources. Gunz was so powerful on his own that HE affected the outward sources. Gunz is already normal, he's just naturally angry. So what does Dan plan on doing?
Speaking of Dan and Drago's abilities, Dan said that Drago was able to teleport out of the Doom Dimension once before. But I don't remember that ever happening. Wasn't the last time Drago was in the Doom Dimension in Season One, where the Brawlers got out thanks to help by those ancient Bakugan? I might be forgetting something, Dan and Drago have obviously done a lot over the years.
